ART for ALL - Designing a public art program for the York community

Four nationally-known public art superstars are coming to York to share their projects and experiences:

Kathy Barrie (Cleveland OH), Donna Graves (Berkeley CA), Ross Miller (Cambridge MA) and Rosemary Noon (Lowell MA)

Presented by Foundry Plaza Inc. and the Cultural Alliance of York County, with co-sponsorship by the City of York, Downtown Inc. and the Alliance of Neighborhood Associations. Funding from Harvard University/Graduate School of Design/Loeb Fellowship program and from the Women's Giving Circle of York County Community Foundation.

Nearly 4000 people participated in various activities on April 8 making York’s celebration the best attended in the event’s history. To each volunteer, artist, donor, vendor, sponsor, guest, and citizen, thank you. Together, we transformed downtown and showed York County the possibilities of how the arts truly can be a catalyst of community renewal.
