Girl scouts will delight in their explorations with an assortment of media and tap into their creativity as they learn the basics of art. Girls will learn a variety of art techniques and will be taught to think about art as a way of self-expression. Young artists will be encouraged to put their own style and feelings on paper. Students should wear old clothes or bring a smock. Projects will include a 3-D mobile, paper weaving, yarn painting, and a feelings painting. Brownies will earn the Color and Shapes Try-It. Daisies will earn a Considerate and Caring Petal. |
