Details: | Celebrate the York JCC’s 100th Anniversary and the Center’s proud history of youth basketball with the movie “The First Basket” and a presentation by Bob Wechsler, starting forward on the York JCC’s 1964-65 championship basketball team and author of “Day by Day in Jewish Sports History.” Bob, a sports editor at The Express-Times newspaper in Easton, and “The First Basket” will both offer valuable reminders that, for nearly three decades, basketball was dominated by Jewish players and coaches.
